Hell Town Hotrods
A few months ago I strolled into Hell Town Hotrods for a quick look around. I didn’t really plan on taking any snaps, but I had a camera and a nifty-fifty in the car, and here we are.
Situated just outside of Gympie, Hell Town Hotrods is a proper restoration shop, that also sells a wide range of vintage memorabilia and signs, and even has a small cafe.
Even though a great deal of these items would have been locally obtained, there really aren’t many businesses that sell these sort of items in Australia, and fewer still have such a wide range.
As I was walking onto the property, I really did just expect a focus on American/Australian parts and merchandise, but the Mazda information sign was the first hint at a much broader respect for automotive culture.
And then I saw this, I’ve simply got no words … or money sadly …
In the back corner of the shop there was even this GSXR tucked away. Super 90’s and in Awesome condition.
But as cool as all that was, it’s the garage next door that had all the super cool stuff.
I’m not even going to pretend I know what half of this stuff is, but I really want to learn. Still, from here I might leave you guys with the pictures as you’ll all probably know more about this sort of stuff than I will. That said, there’s some amazing ideas in the details on these cars, so don’t just give the pics a glance.
More content soon.
Still not dead.
